Introduction

An overview of Echo Token Station, what you need to get started, and which page to read for each task.

Echo Token Station is a service that lets you call AI models from several providers with a single API key. An API is the interface a program uses to call the features of another service.

It supports the OpenAI format and the Anthropic format, so the SDKs you already use (libraries that providers publish for calling their APIs) and your tools work after you swap the base URL and the API key. Some tools also need a model ID.

What you need

  • An Echo AI Hub account (sign-up is free; you can sign up after the member site Echo AI Hub opens)
  • Balance: a top-up (from ¥1,000), or the sign-up bonus [ ]
  • The ID of the model you want to use (see the model list)

Sign-up is free, but calling the API requires a balance. How prices are calculated, top-ups and expiry are covered in Pricing and top-ups.

Account and console

  • Your account is shared with Echo AI Hub (https://echohub.io ). Whichever site you sign up on, it is the same account
  • When you sign up, you become a Basic member of Echo AI Hub. The membership tier (Basic or Premium) is the same on both sites
  • The console (https://token.echohub.io/console ) is the management screen where you issue API keys, check usage and the call history, and top up. You log in with your Echo AI Hub account. The console is available in Japanese only

The member site Echo AI Hub has not opened yet. Until it opens, you cannot sign up or log in to the console (as of 2026-09-28).

Models

The models we offer and their prices are listed in the model list.

Model IDs are written the same way as the names used in the provider's API (for example deepseek-flash, claude-sonnet-5). The code examples in this documentation use deepseek-flash for the OpenAI format and claude-sonnet-5 for the Anthropic format and Claude Code.

Trademarks

Model names, company names and product names on this site are trademarks or registered trademarks of their owners. Echo Token Station is not operated by the model providers and is not endorsed by them.
